Hi Everyone,
I have some sad news We have lost another classmate.. Mike McEntire just told me that Roger Birlew passed away on June 27th.
He leaves behind his wife Sandra and 1 son, other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on July 12th at Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles. from 9:00 to 11:00.

I remember Roger as one of the good guys in our class. Though popular and well liked, he never looked down on those less popular than himself. My condolences to his family.

Roger and I, along with Alan Downs, hung around several times during high school. He even helped me obtain a part-time job at Glik's in Cahokia. His mother was the manager. He was funny and kind-hearted and a good friend. I lost touch with him over the years, but that does not affect how he helped me out during our high school years. God bless his family and him.

Good guy growing up during school years, seemingly always good natured. He lived close to HS and I remember going to his house rather than back to St Johns Gardens after school to hang out for couple hours before having to come back for an early evening basketball game. Nice guy - has been missed by many in our class over past decades.
