Becky O'Brien Keim

I am entering my fifth year as the school superintendent of the Chester CUSD; the home of Popeye and the Yellowjackets. Before that I was a principal in Cahokia and Waterloo. I have not strayed too far from home.It was sad for me to leave my career in Cahokia but as we all know it is not the same town that we grew up in.

I live in Chester during the week and come home to Columbia on the weekends. I own a home in both communities. I am very involved in Chester. I am on the Chamber Board and an active part of Rotary.

On a personal note, I have been single for about 15 years. I have one adult son that is currently underemployed due to the state of our economy.

It will be great to see everyone again. I hope we celebrate our 60th birthday together like we did our 50th.
